Do you think that walking a mile in your uncle's hiking boots will make you feel grown up? It would certainly leave your feet with a unique odour. Though I guess it's because if you do then you may be accepted to finally do some training flying an airplane, as the boots will likely make you look taller? Unless your standing in front of a flight instructor in a very large puddle. Anyway, here's hoping that your plan works, if that's the reason why you decided to walk a mile in your uncle's hiking boots.
