Tribute to Toffee, 12/30/15-05/30/18

Her death still stings, she was so young and healthy. She was a victim of a back luck of the draw (twisted liver lobe most likely) and it's not fair. At least she is at peace now, free from a suddenly broken corporal form.

I miss her drinking water obnoxiously loud, the second patter of feet at feeding time, her smashing her face between the bars of her pen to say hello, her big white belly, her long ears softly dragging the ground, the sass, her climbing places she didn't belong, and her generally being a menace. I miss her energy and the way she always bonked me when I was sad. I miss how soft she was. I miss how she rejected every new food I tried with her bc it had a funny texture. I miss her DEMANDING pets and food. I just miss Toffee, and the hole she left in mine and Dumplin's life is going to take a long time to heal.

It's still hard not to say buns or refer to her as if she's gone. This was so sudden and unexpected, and the grief has hit me hard. She was my light, and she's gone.
