Has been so long since you made this one. I wanted to share my thoughts earlier but in a way my doubts held me back at times. I like to be open to everybody and fair. It's what friends should always do.
I must admit, whenever somebody draws or makes random Totodile artworks and then tags me, I feel partly flattered and partly am unsure in which way I should take credit for it. I cannot look inside your mind and see if you found the motivation to draw a Totodile because of me since there aren't really hints for that you could be actually much interested in the motives of my mascot and there being the connection somewhat missing.
I mean, if somebody likes to try something out then sure, they might start drawing a character randomly, but if it's for somebody else, why stopping at the attempt and not adding some individuality one sees in the designs of the characters they are going to dedicate it to? I don't take it against you in the slightest though. The fact you thought of me somewhere on the way still is an honor and I appreciate it.
In regards of the drawing itself, it's interesting. I cannot shake the feeling off that I've seen that particular pose for Totodile somewhere before. It's like if one took a polygonal character model and tried to trace the lines from it. For a practice that is of course legitimate always though. The execution is neat and that Super Mario World font for the text does blend with the edged lineart. Reminds me of Gamecube and Wii days when Totodile was a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl.
Could defintely see such a design as like some line of Pokémon merch like those cards people got from Pokémon Channel. As like in that I hope you might get a smile from me tuning in and sharing what has been on my mind. I thank you and wish you much success for all your current projects, Brandon. =3

You are a funny one. Why would I ever ask of anybody to delete their art, especially after adding one of my essays of a feedback? Don't tell me you drew another Totodile in response of my comment? That wasn't meant negatively in any way. Did you misinterprete me there possibly? =o
I just found it somewhat funny you tagged me back then because this wasn't really a drawing of Shiny but some random Totodile but it definitely shows you got a lot of talent by drawing something in such a short time. =3

Well, it's just good manners to at least look up somebody's name, I think. Even if it's just a nickname and not your real one. I'd assume that you'd put it on your profile so that people who like to have a conversation would also use it to adress you with. If you would prefer a different name then you can of course tell me anytime. =3
