The very first time I dyed my hair, the dye stained my skin in a streak down my back that made my mother remark that I looked like an inverted purple skunk. I don't remember if I drew the first version of IPS that day or if it was a little while later, but in either case her design hasn't changed a whole lot in the intervening seventeen years. About the only change—aside from technical ability, I mean—is the white right foot, and I'm not entirely sold on that, haha. I suppose you could argue she looks more furry than she used to, though unfortunately she still doesn't exactly look like a skunk :P Oh well, some day maybe!

This ref sheet has been several years in the making, but something always seemed to go wrong—Photoshop crashing, major life stuff getting in the way, more Photoshop crashing, some beach balling of Photoshop... honestly, it was mostly PS' fault, lol. I managed to finally get a sketch actually saved the other night, so maybe the curse has been lifted at last :P

IPS is one of two fursonas that I use when I need a fursona (which isn't very often, as I'm mostly furry-adjacent). Apple is the other; hopefully I'll get her a ref sheet soon. Apple and IPS together were the two main characters of one of my VERY short-lived webcomics, Human Behaviour, waaay back in the early 2000s.
