I've only come across one "different styles" template, namely http://toxindicator.deviantart.com/.....enge-105004668 - which didn't appeal to me. So the answer is no.
Are there others out there? (With few exceptions I'm usually not a fan of "memes", so I haven't actively been looking.)
I suppose I'd be up for something in that vein provided I get to choose what artist/style to imitate. ;)

Yes, that "16 styles" thing isn't inviting, for the reasons you mention.
Now a challenge that went something like "draw your character, first in your own style, then in the styles of three [or other low number] artists of your choice", that's something I could get behind.
