My favorite is still the 1911 hammerless
Never heard of it? Of course not, they never produced the thing, it's the rarest 1911 in existence, even rarer than the trial models. Only one prototype survives.
Though that's not why it's my favorite, it's my favorite because John Mose preferred hammerless designs. The 1911 we know today isn't even the gun he wanted to build, the Hammerless model was. Even the High Power, the gun he used to fix all the 1911's problems, was originally striker fired.
The hammer on the High Power was added later after he died.
I just love that things people hate about plastic pistols like the Glock were ideas J.M.B. was pushing way back in the 1910s .

The striker fire design is good in it's own ways at least conveniently. Personally and mechanically I prefer having a hammer. I can manually disarm the weapon without having to dry fire it. Unlike glocks (hate them with a passion) s&w mp series pistols and others. Sig is one I'd prefer theres nothing like a good sig. Or H&K
