Decided to do something, finally. A small thing about what cars I’ve owned, so far.
The car in the photo was my first at the cost of just £500/$670, and the one that I look back on and will most probably buy again when I have the funds.
The reason being, it’s the most fun in a car I’ve ever had.
Although it may only have 90 something horsepower, it weighed in at less than a tonne. In other words, it’s the real modern equivalent of the original and classic Mini.
The car was so simple and lacked all of the features of most modern cars, but none of that mattered to me during my ownership, because it put such a smile on my face whenever I drove it.
The SportKa is basically an amped up version of the humdrum and fairly normal Ka, which in turn is basically a 90’s Ford Fiesta but with an even smaller body and 3 door only.
There’s something refreshing about cars like these, in the modern era where cars are so heavy, loaded with complicated tech and emissions gumf. The car that I have and always will love regardless of those that made fun of it, who for the most part missed the point. If your car puts a smile on your face, regardless of what it may be, then who cares what people say about it.
