Character design for a pangolin fighter. Actually, he's more of a pangolin/armadillo hybrid.
Don't have much on him yet as far as background or story goes, but here is what I do have:

He was a slave fighter, being a rather big celebrity in the fighting arena, and he didn't mind it, but he unexpectedly found himself suddenly free, his masters dead and the metal collar around his neck ripped off. Afraid of being accused of the murdes and of trying to escape, he is on the run to save himself, and soon gets used to the idea of being a free man.
Being a hybrid of pangolin and armadillo, he has armored spines on the back of his head and down his neck and armored plates on his back, arms, legs and muzzle. Because of the metal collar being ripped off his neck, he has a scar running around his neck, which he wraps to hide. The wrappings on his feet and abdomen aren't so much for hiding anything but more for his fighting, since people usually bind their body in wrappings in order to keep them body tense.
What's unusual about this character is the fact he is the only male that uses the feet fighting style, a fighting style usually used by the females.

No color scheme yet, so I might play around with some ideas. Open to any suggestions.
