Also known as "proof that i am still alive". It has been two months since I have posted anything. before that, a half year! Clearly I am a lazy bum. This is a wip, part of a series, and will be colored. It is instructional on how to treat your Dragonborn. Just be careful not to call one yours, or they might put you in an uncomfortable position.
And please, if you like it, let me know. If you hate it, let me know in all caps. :)

Hey Vtaaran, long time no see! Love the picture, like usual, your artwork is great! So...one of the proper ways to treat your Dragonborn is to play them in chess? I'd get my butt beaten two turns in if that's the case. Perhaps a nice rousing game of....Word Search...in the newspaper instead?
I LIKE THIS PICTURE (just to futz with your mind you said to tell you if we hated it in all caps, but the capitalisation disagrees with the intent, what to think, what to think!) You may comment to beat the ever loving crap out of me now...
In all seriousness this slice'o life is fantastic, Sir. Confidence on the guy's part, cautious uncertainty on the dragon's...

Not much of a back story, other than a small tid bit in my brain matter. Dragonborn are copyright Wizards of the Coast. As for the difference, technically dragonborn do not have tails, but I like me some thick tail to hold onto at night. it is scary in the dark! I doubt i answered your question. :P
Ah, you should expound on that did bit sometime, my friend. And okay, so the Dragonborn are from some RPG then? I am ignorant in the ways of such things, although you're quite right, they'd look a little odd without tails. Anyway, it's called 'artistic licence'
Some thick tail to wrap around you and keep you feeling safe and cared for... awww...

:D And to blame when things get knocked over. "Moooom! It wasn't me! i swear!"
Long story short, human disguised as peasant is a thief, Dragon born a (stud)ded leather wearing adventurer. Hijinks ensue. Maybe the Dragonborn tries to get the human out of his line of work to keep him safe. I was always a fan of medeval times (and still have yet to go to a fair!) and always love the ways of the thief. I like being sneaky, even if it does not pan out all the time.
BANG!
"What was that?"
"Me trying to sneak up on you."
"Oh. You didn't do it very well."
"Shut up..."

Oy, writing...
I may be willing if pestered enough. ;) I like drawing to tell stories more than writing them, but I have done it before.
As for the Dragonborn, they are very loyal to those that earn their trust. Their psychology and physiology is written up somewhere:
