If you aren't on my LJ friend's list:
the short version:
I am thinking of finally getting medicated after almost 20 years of depression
I am also thinking of changing Fala's hair. This is what my hair looks like in REAL LIFE.

Woah your hair is awesome in real life.
My advice, as someone who has been on and off different meds for my depression/bipolar/whateverthefuck because different shrinks give me different diagnoses... and also a psychology student... if it makes you feel worse do not keep taking it. I know that sounds obvious but a lot of people make the mistake of assuming doctors always know what's right for you. Brain chemistry varies so much from one person to the next and whatever they may tell you it's not fully understood... so there is a very good chance that a medicine that works for one person won't work for another person with the exact same symptoms on the surface. Just be careful, basically.
