The “Super Mario Adventures” comic series that was first published back during the 90s was such a wonderful piece of nostalgic; a great blend of western art with loads of anime tropes blended together.

After the Nintendo Treehouse demonstration of “Super Mario Odyssey”, I was inspired to make a comic base of the demo; get ready for the Mario vs Hariet comic adaption!!

Finally, the Broodals making their official appearance! There was a lot of editing work for the lineart before I could get down with the coloring and shading. I'm afraid there's going to be a lot that for future pages, which will eat up my time...

Anyways, I wanted to put specifc attention on Topper, the green little bunny and, if I'm correct, the leader of the group. Mainly, I always imagine that he's always serious and has a similar personalty to "Ira Gamagori" the hulking guy from "Kill la Kill". I put more empathies on his shading in comparison to the light shade work for everyone for that reason.
