My grandparents live out in the boondocks and have some hummingbird feeders. They told me about their abundance of hummingbirds, so I went over there sooner than I otherwise would have, and there really were a lot of them! It ended up being too dark to shoot anything after a while, so I decided to see how close I could get to them (the hummingbirds, not my grandparents); I ended up being about two (2) centimetres away from several hummingbirds, and they didn't seem to mind me in the slightest. Pretty cool. This is a female ruby-throated hummingbird.
