Hey can I just say, while I'm on the Imperial side of things and -I respect- but don't love Ulfric and whatnot...
I fuckin' love this Iona/Ulfric thing you've got going? Like seriously the art is BEAUTIFUL and the characterization is fuckin' A+. Seriously, everything about this content is STELLAR. Please, never stop. <3

When you cross the wrong Khajit.
It makes sense. Use what you're given. Not what you don't have. Armor looks imposing, it can slow you down. Weapons are pretty, the big flashy ones take incredible strength to wield.
Speed, is incredibly useful. You can't harm, what you can't hit, and when in a fight. A back, is such an amazing canvas and anything sharp makes a wonderful brush

This reminds me so much of Red in her youth, when a lion grabbed ahold of her to have his way with her. Despite being almost half his size, she too fought back. Though she didn't use claws to fight back like Iona did.

Well, he MIGHT be a Jarl, but he's willingly put himself in the position to be hurt. Most matches like this would end on whoever drew first blood, and, well, she certainly has...but she's, as I said, gone a bit too far with it.

I've been studying these pages once more, and I'm curious... Is the reason Iona doesn't like being pinned down because she was raped, or nearly so? And was she in a similar position when it happened? That's one of the only reasons why (aside from the general lack of personal space) she might dislike it. Is that why, and why she's hesitant to love again easily?
There's a lot about Iona's past that is kept in relative secret for now. Much of her baggage deals with things linked to The Brand on her arm and what she endured under it.
I WILL say that Skyrim is a high fantasy/middle ages/dark ages kind of world, and certain things were commonplace if not expected. Sexual violence against women and pretty much anyone weaker than you was one of them.
As for love, maybe it has something to do with that but maybe it's a little deeper. Iona doesn't really fit in the world of Men or of her fellow Khajiit. Love is not something she trusts easily.

I see.. I'm very curious to see what secrets lie in her past. Thanks for all the replies to my questions, BTW. I love your work, and you are very talented in your art. Not to mention you draw my favorite race from the Elder Scrolls games, the Khajiit, so well.
