It’s mid afternoon, you’re in your apartment, and you walk by the window facing the woods behind your building. You begin to hear a ringing in your ears. You feel as if something is in pain, or is being attacked, something is screaming for help - but you don’t hear or see anything. You walk outside, curious but worried. You walk apprehensively, but its just trees as far as you can see - you go deeper, untill suddenly, the ringing gets louder, and louder.

You realize you’ve gone too far, the trees became denser than you realized, The ringing gets even LOUDER until it becomes unbearable. You feel an otherworldly chill go down your spine. There are no trees anymore, the path just vanishes, just darkness - you see further down the path, something materialize, it’s screaming, and growling.

It notices you

You become paralyzed, unable to move at all. You begin to hear something.

“H E L P M E”

“S A V E M E”

It chants, - louder - it moves towards you, and is clawing with with all its arms at everything around it, trying to say upright, until its only a few yards away, the words become fuzzy and bleed into each other, not quite making words anymore.

Until its nearly on top of you - it begins to hiss, and lift its arm at you.

Another voice booms out

“T H I S H A S N O T H I N G T O D O W I T H Y O U, C H I L D . L E A V E A T O N C E.”

The spell is broken, and you take the opportunity and run away - not looking back till you were out of the woods, and are standing by your apartment building. The ringing is gone.
