*Tosses a single handful of confetti in the air...gets a few in my eyes by accident*
Sooooo, I just turned twenty nine today. YaaaayIthink! And to celebrate the occasion, I decided to whip up a lil vorish comedy comic where the AU version of Killer Croc created by
RchlisNomSome and I is ALSO celebrating his twenty ninth birthday.
And as Croc-o tentatively celebrates the occasion with his best pal / unofficial lil bro, Kid Shark, Kid learns the hard way that....maybe you SHOULDN'T mock a persons' age when they're already anxious about the fact that after they're thirty, every subsequent birthday becomes "One year closer to forty."
Hope you guys enjoy! :)

Of course. "WHO'S THE OLD ONE NOW?!"
Another thing, I just have to say that this comic is proof your 2D art skills are REALLY improving. I can't express how much I love Croc-o's expressions and poses in every one of these panels, he's just plain adorable. From that happy smile and thumbs up, to that deadpanned expression with the single snaggletooth, and of course, the burp face. Cuz burp faces are funny. XD
I can't forget about Kid, because he's looking good too! That closed eyed expression kills me, he looks so sure of himself...right before his big bro puts him in his place.

And by then, Kid would be too scared of any white hairs on his head to even THINK about taking jabs at Croc-o by that point. XD
Aww, thank you so very much, I appreciate that! ^^ I've really been trying to get a feel for spacing and just general stuff about how big each limb's supposed to be, and ESPECIALLY less static poses and more facially expressive stuff. Croc-o's deadpanned stare had to be my personal favorite, with burp face'n happy smile tied for second. XP
Kid was a LOT of fun here too. I was able to get away with using the same pose, but that lil shift in facial expression made the final panel so much more satisfying to write up. 'XD

Although Croc would already be 40 by that point, he doesn’t sweat it because he doesn’t even HAVE hair.
No problem. ;) Yeah, I can already tell you’re keeping a closer eye on proportions, and it really paid off here. Although Croc’s head is a wee bit big in the first two panels, but I think it looks really cute and cartoony in this case (dunno if it was intentional or not). And those expressions are both excellent choices.
Indeed it was. XD

And besides, forty is the new thirty! Just ask Tom Hardy! Y-Yep...that's what I'll tell myself by that point... 'XD
Thank you very much! With the head, I THINK I just buggered up, but I'm glad it added that kinda adorable look to the big guy. And I hope I'll be able to get more goofy and fun expressions going. XP
