There are larger hives that are basically nations devoted to feeding a Kaiju

If a hive is the size of a nation they stop needing to avoid prosecution the way small hives need to. Hive cities would generally look like any other city.

I mean, sure, you could change their appearance through many normal methods. Surgery, makeup, magic, etc.

But for all purposes, this is the new default. If you reset their appearance or undo any magic or changes, they go back to the succubat appearance.

I was just thinking, after watching some Kamen Rider with a friend of mine, of a way to artificially pair symbiotes with a potential host that is normally unable to pair for some reason (such as risk of host death for example)

I was thinking of a kind of sympathy suit in the form of a Kamen Rider suit that artificially and temporarily merges symbiont and potential host without physically merging the two and causing them to be rejected due to different reasons.

Idk, how would you feel about such a concept? These are your critters after all.
