Frinkel knew they existed, but he had never really played around with a laminator before. So when he saw Sky's, he figured he wanted to take a look at how it worked. Frinkel knew he used it to laminate other furs, and sometimes himself, but he wasn't sure why only he was supposed to be able to use it.
Until, well... he slipped into the feeder. He didn't expect it to happen, but it caught onto his feet and pulled them into its mechanics. This took Frinkel by surprise, who yelped as he tried to pull himself out, but to no avail. He could feel a numb warmth radiating from his feet, spreading up to his legs... and then he looked at the other side of the machine. He was turning into a fully-flattened, laminated Sky! He kept trying to get out, but it still continued relentlessly. There was no off button, either, and it wasn't even plugged into anything; it was running on battery power! He blushed as he watched his fate unfold in front of him, nothing he could do to stop it...
Hours later, the real, original Sky returns home to find a fully-laminated copy of himself at the front of his laminator, permanently grinning wide, trapped in-between two layers of plastic. He chuckles and grins, knowing what happened as he trims the laminator sheet down to size and affixes the flattened toon to the front of his door, forever to be a decoration welcoming anyone who wishes to visit his place.
