Sometimes Game Freak and Nintendo do things that make no godforsaken sense with their shinies. I figured I'd run through lineages and give my take on how I'd improve shinies, if I had the power to.

Bulbasaur's family is part poison, and I always envision poison as a color scheme to be bright, in your face colors on the cooler side of the spectrum, so the lineage goes from a soft purple to standout colors that really stand out in comparison to the original colors.
