Shizame and Raylen always travel together, 2 best pals who never questioned how they came to enjoy each other company this much. Raylen while cooking a meal for the both decided to seek out the answer.



*Raylen* Hey Shiz, i have a question that has been on the back of my mind for such a long time, would you mind if i ask it?


*Shizame* huh? Yeah sure, as long as its not a trap for one of you damn puns.....


*Raylen* Nah its more fun teasing you when others are around, anyway i wanted to ask why did you wish me to follow you around? Because i remember hearing how you were someone who despised company yet you are often seen chatting with 2 sergals which are both mercs as well. In fact i even heard you did some heist with them multiple time.


*Shizame* has yes..... The thing is.... Well this is embarrassing, the reason why i wanted you to tag along with me at first was... well you cook some pretty tasty meal! Ever had a meal made by 3 mercenaries who cant cook for shit? Yeah food poisoning and starvation. So the fact i can go on a contract without starving to death is a plus!


*Raylen* oh really? heh i guess there are worst reason to have an ally, like this one dude who just wanted me to joing his crew because he needed a female to act as his girlfriend in public, and to impress the rest of his crew.


*Shizame* I may be a merc but im not a fucking asshole. Look cooking was the main reason at first sure but with time i got to laugh with you which i never thought i could laugh so much in someone company . That and your soul thread powers are just amazing! I never met anyway with such magical abilities!


*Raylen* oh that, its best we dont talk much about it, Soul thread is a forbiden art that should not be taught to anyone outside the marsh. Yeah... My reason to tag with you first is because i couldnt stand living in swamp areas, too much danger and bad memories. Thaaaaat and my tribe made me one of the Draknar caretaker since i never had a husband, they forced me to look over their brats... i once wanted to have children but now... Thinking about it boils my blood like you couldnt believe.


*Shizame* Yeah.. Kids are the fucking worst, i had contract to escort a kid around town, babysitting... The pay was damn good but a merc who looks over kids... Not good for the rep you know.


*Raylen* And as we kept traveling togheter, you brought many laughter as well plus we travel the world, visit new town, find new knowledge. Making a goal to my dull life, though i dont care of a life of mercenary i cant deny the fun of tagging along one and making sure he doesnt kill himself like a goofball hehehe.


*Shizame* oh hush! Thats was one time.. Not my fault we went to a high temple drunk and i wanted to jump off the roof and glyde around the city... By the way this stew is amazing! Man i wish i could cook like that.


*Raylen* i could teach you!

*Shizame* nah, me and cooking never got along.. I get bored and often just screw the recipe just to get it over with.


*Raylen* No problem, heh lets just enjoy a nice relaxing moment and enjoy the ambiance of the forest.
