After becoming infected with Sunny (the ex-evil parasitic sunflower on his head), Dan's body changed in many different ways. One of those changes (obviously) is the ability to become pregnant. However, there's an unnatural cycle he goes through. The parasite has an instinct to spread, and thus impregnates Dan once every other month in order to reproduce. These pregnancies only last for 3 weeks. And unlike Dan's situation, the babies he gives birth to unfortunately are completely under the influence of their own newly reproduced parasite. Not wanting to cause widespread chaos with potential evil time mages, Dan opts to devour his own babies as a last resort in order to prevent that from happening. Sunny doesn't mind this, as long as they still have their current host. With the number of times he undergoes this process though, Dan eventually gained a pregnancy and vore fetish.
