Yeah, for some reason they were retroactively added as a "third season" to the first 25 episodes of the original series.
Basically, those 16 episodes originally ran as part of the Scooby's All Stars series in the fall of 1978. The entire 1976-1978 run was later given the blanket name of "The Scooby-Doo Show" when run in syndication since the early '80s.

I really don't understand why they did that when they have different openings and everything. It doesn't make sense why they consider those 1978 episodes as part of the original series when they were only aired on their own back in the day.
Anyway here is the breakdown of each series as follows to clear up any confusion.
CBS
Scooby-Doo Where Are You: 25 episodes (1969-1970)
The New Scooby-Doo Movies: 24 episodes (1972-1973)
ABC
The Scooby-Doo-Dynomutt Hour: 16 episodes (1976)
Scooby's Laff-A-Lympics: 8 episodes (1977)
Scooby's All Stars: 16 episodes (1978)
