I don't know if you even check comments on old art. But..

When I first saw this last year I thought it was sweet, and beautiful... But I never really understood what Aphantasia was, just like completely flew over my head.

Not long ago I saw a streamer with aphantasia and he explained it, even showed some tests... Imagine a red star, simple right? An easy shape, bright color... And nothing. Just dark haze. I can trace an outline of the shape with my eyes, try to convince myself its there. I *know* what the shaoe is supoosed to look like, but nada.

And.. It's not like I don't have an imagination, I draw things from my head without references, build grand architectures in games...

I dunno, it just feels kinda empty knowing something's supoosed to be there when it's not. Either way, I've got a newfound appreciation for this peice, and I'm really glad you made it.

I'm glad you're still able to create even without seeing it visually.

Yeah... I dunno, maybe it's more like my hands are doing the 'seeing' for me. Maybe it's why I like to draw and doodle so much, to put the ideas out where I can see them. I just.. y'know, never thought about it til now.

The one who commissioned this said that seeing things drawn down/designed helped cement things.

So you can build it up on paper in front of your physical eyes instead of your mind's eye. See that the design seems off somehow, and try new things, etc.
