Like...I've thought that it would just be trying to make the vague sounds of words without consonants. As all her sounds just seem to be drawn out vowels. Which isn't as bad as it might sound. As deeping on how short or long you make the vowel it can even sound similar enough to a normal consonant to make your brain fill in the gaps. So effectively you're pronouncing things right. But this is just my head's theory on the matter.
