Lucy's parents died due to her grandmother's history that involved her having a one night stand with a very dangerous mobster and him being angry that she ran away since, he thought it would be forever. So after her grand mom traveled to different countries (and fucked some more around) she decided to finally stay in Britain where she got pregnant and had her son who later became Lucy's father. The boss never forgot and when he heard that she came to america he sent out his men and murdered Lucy's family.
The only reason that she survived was because the men refuse to kill such a young child.

Social: Especially the women that work at the orphanage or at the school don't like her becaseu she has, in their eyes, no manners whatsoever. They want to "fix" her and make her into a proper lady like the other girls in the orphanage but, mostly fail since they can never catch her.
They also try to stop her friendship with he rest of the zodiac boys but, it always ends the same.
