With the destruction at mount Hyjal, Taeana lost most of her family and Tribe. In despair, she swore vengeance against the legion, by any means necessary.

Lured by promises of power by orc warlocks of the early Horde, Taeana learned to command the fel and enslave demons of the twisting nether to her command.

Always on the search for Legion demons to kill, she garnered further power, destroying any enemies that got in her way, taking a trophy of bone for each victory.

What was once a path of vengeance turned to a lust of power, and began to wither not only her spirit, but her body as well, leaving her a near husk of her former self. And even when the Legion was defeated, she would never relinquish her power.
