I drew this for an anonymous friend who then volunteered to color it. It was a little tricky getting my traditional line art to work digitally but he totally crushed the colors. Expect more collabs with him in the future because he's great at it and I selfishly wanna see what else he can do!
We collaborated on Rouge's design too. I had done a number of sketches before and we settled on a look for her that we both felt was right. The hair was a mutual choice as we felt keeping her "bald" would take an element away from the costume. Frankly I like her more with some sort of hair (outside of the back of the head part.) It really adds to Rouge's femme fatale look if you will.
She's fun to draw and I'm sure this won't be the last of her in my work.
