Song I started in 2006 and finished with the help of my friend David. (I need to get him to get an FA account one of these days. xD) I had written an instrumental part and the first verse and chorus lyrics, but was stuck for a number of months. David wrote a bit of lyrics for the second verse and bridge/outro.
Vidan: Vocals, bass, keyboards, guitar.

----
Painted in the darkest shade of white I ever saw
A portrait of a thousand faces in all their agony and joy
The one thing I couldn't destroy is in pieces
A little bit of you, and you
The pallete breaks open and they're mixing in
The one of two or more assorted parts of different machines
Tied together by the strands of abstract reason without rhyme
The bodies electric sitting on a wall looking in at
All the color, fade to a shallow lifeless shade of grey
Here we are the
disconnected,
disconnected
Even in the white noise, there I hear your voice
The silence of a thousand questions that scream the answer to it all
The answer's not easy to hear, but within us
A little bit of you, and you
The cogs that are turning in a spinning wheel
The one of two or more assorted parts of different machines
Tied together by the strands of abstract reason without rhyme
The bodies electric sitting on a wall looking in at
All the color, fade to a shallow lifeless shade of grey
Here we are the
disconnected,
disconnected
A thousand plugs lay on the floor
The reflection of confusion
The kaleidoscope colors blur,
and we can't find a connection
