She's (female, right? I'm gonna say it's a female) a very neat character, and a bit of a challenge to draw. For some reason, her head was giving me a bit of a hard time, but I'm glad I got it down.

So true, so true...I always strive to add a high level of realism to all the fantasy and fictional stuff I do; it makes it all that more believable.
It was those artists' work that made me aware of this fandom in the first place, and even though I don't consider myself a furry, their art is always a big inspiration to me.
That Angel of Death piece reminds me of the work an old friend does, actually.
Yep, definitely female. I have no idea what she actually is though. I call her a gryphon just for simplicity's sake, even though technically she is not. Raven heads are surprisingly tricky to render properly without making them look too much like a crow or other bird, so I understand fully. Glad she challenged you and that you had fun though.

It does. And it's not that I don't LIKE the other, less realistic styles sometimes (except Sonic. I am SO against that), but I've had enough.

XD Thanks? It's actually a character in a show they do at a theme park every Halloween over here in Jersey. But he's just SO awesome and SO hot, he was practically BEGGING for me to give him wings XD
Yay I was right! She's not a griffin, since she's got no feline qualities whatsoever. She's ALMOST a raven....taur, of sorts, except she's got ungulate toes. I'd say either make up a name or cheat and call her a demon XD
By the way, you said on the forums you really liked snakes. I got mine sitting here chowing on a mouse as I type XD. Do you have any?

Goldie was the first artist I found, and then to Natasha, then Sidian, and then I found this place and a slew of others, lol. I've always had a thing for werewolves and since colored pencils are my predominant medium, Goldie has been a big inspiration to me, along with my main artistic idols such as Brom and Todd Lockwood.
Yeah, probably the only feline trait is several key parts in her anatomy, namely her ability to pronate/supinate her forelegs, and the incredibly flexible spine. TECHNICALLY she could be called a chimera of sorts, since the scientific definition pretty much means a creature of many different component parts. She's of a fae origin though, and she does have a distinct sort of species, but I haven't thought too in depth so far.

Goldie is great, no doubt about it. But her style just.....I dunno. I mean I love it and all, but it doesn't click. I think Emrys clicked INSTANTLY because I like my werewolves to be vicious and aggressive with a secondary but still present soft side. As for Kyoht, well she's just epic on a stick. XD. She introduced me to Nagas and therefor my fursona. So bonus points for her. Plus she does dino art for NatGeo, and I was such a dinosaur freak when I was little that I knew what Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Sarchosuchus, and Ramphorinchus were in preschool. I also corrected a museum curator XD
