You should ask him what he thinks of the new one.
I personally have to see more, as I was a fan of the old one as well and the new look is quite jarring to me. >w>

well, I guess he doesn't care either way, I used to watch the 2011 reboot and tell him "look dad!! new thundercats!!" he just said something like "oh cool!" but he never actually watched it xD
