The Cenebrian race is varied in appearance. Typically they are shown as humanoid figures with two horns sticking out the front of their head.

- A Cenebrian's average physical size is comparable to that of a regular human's.
- Their native tongue is called: Shay-ling
- Their name is derived from their natural association with the darkness.
- Cenebrians have an inherent weakness to sunlight. Unable to venture within its illumination for very long without sustaining physical burns.
- Their home city of Caldrigo lies within the Ligan Region, which is surrounded by the Lyferene Wreath. A blackened mountain range which has the strange effect of absorbing sunlight. This has allowed the race to exist above ground.
- The Cenebrians at first glance could all be considered hybrids of sorts. The diversity of appearance within this species is immense. It can be so diverse in fact, that one of them can appear to be from a different species entirely.
- They have a unique genetic affinity with the darkness. This is how one can recognise if someone is a genuine Cenebrian person or a hybrid.
