hes about 15 and does some light work in the mines.
also note the glowy things on his back- durgri have plates under the skin these come in handy for a number of ways; light for themselves when working in the mines, simple communication [like morse code]
you would never notice the lightplates unless they were lit up, wen ther not "on" the flesh and fur in that area are the same as any other.
light is often a shade of purple/blue/or red [like blacklight] to help look for a moisure that makes up part of the drug

im thinking more about the light plates under the skin, im keeping the idea but instead of having them appear normal when the lights arent on, the area where their is a light plate will have a faded color [ the way glow in the dark beads have a more opaque color then nonglow beads]
