A bit of backstory for my new character Kyrophon, the Cnossan. Kyrophon is very much a chaotic neutral character and I wanted to have a try at writing an interaction with such a character. The only law that Kyrophon respects is the law of the jungle: that the strongest can do what they want while the weakest suffer what they must. With that said, he isn't cruel or sadistic and is just as ready to help someone like Dalton as harm them if he thinks doing so would be of greater personal benefit.

He does have a sense of right and wrong, but most of this he only applies to other Cnossi- humans and other smaller species are simply below his concern most of the time. A potential path for his character development over a longer story might involve him learning to apply his morality to non-Cnossan characters. Additionally, as this is Kyrophon's first peaceful contact with humans in a long time, his common-speech (English) is a bit broken. Further ahead in his timeline and he might have had enough time speaking it to be a somewhat better conversationalist although I do quite like his speech at the moment.

I dunno if I'll go any further with this particular backstory section or what role Dalton will play going forward. I do think it would be rather fun to write their showing up in town though, but it would be hard to bring that to a clear end I think.
