My voice sings only for The Dawn
Runa Heidrsdottr, Witch. One of her people's crippled Snevjaettr, "Snow Spirits", she was born frail and crippled, and while she towers over most folk, a startling 6' 7", she is a dwarf beside the rest of her people, the behemoth 8' Hemdalyr. Too weak to swing an axe, too frail for the labours of survival in their icy lands, many Snevjaettr die before their 30th birthday, often with their bodies decaying and failing years in advance. Like many, Runa is afraid to die, and this fear drove her North, into the wastelands left behind by Asgard's desolation, where only traitor gods and their Valravn stalk the nights. There, she beseeched the Dawn, and with it made pact.
