When she was dragged to the Exiled Lands, there were any number of reasons for it. She didn't exactly keep a small track record of things she did 'wrong' by the eyes of civilizations, but she did learn a great deal while she was out and about! So, being trapped in the Exiled Lands with no way out but to do what she had done to earn her spot there in the first place, she set out to find a way out. Of course, along the way, she opted for something a bit more...comfortable, given her figure hid her strength, was padded enough to protect against weather and blade, and her general size and existence was great at intimidating the occasional living-oriented exile.
For the hostile wildlife and those exiles who chose to fight her otherwise...all they did was feed a hunger that had most likely played a vital role in her arrival there. A nice, comfy outfit had to compensate with that, too. So for her, the garb most associated with the Zamorian thieves was perfect...with a few liberties and modifications to fit her form.
