We had some REALLY heavy fog here about a week ago, and everything in the area looked like this. The white didn't come out quite as nicely as I'd hoped, but I think the genearl idea still comes across. I'll try to make it a little more distinct next time this happens.

Snow and other pure white subjects can difficult to photograph. The camera tends to want to under-expose. If you can, try adjusting the exposure compensation to the positive by a stop or two.
