If you like little amusement park-type railroads, go to You Tube and type "Venice Miniature Railroad 1924"- That year, Hal Roach filmed an "Our Gang" comedy using the that particular common-carrier a year before it was shut down and dismantled. Lots of wonderful footage of that long gone line, with the "Our Gang" kids getting a to operate a real steam locomotive. A midget steam locomotive that is, but a real steam locomotive. Give it a watch, I think you'll like it.
