At BLFC this year, the first furry musical premiered, performed by a wonderful cast of both suiters and singers (and created by even more amazing folks) including but not at all limited to Fox Amoore, Pepper Coyote, Shadowwolfen, Lilypad, Rhubarb, and more! Fox had requested months in advance that I attend and draw this show since I would also be at the convention, and so I did.

The whole event from start to finish is an amazing story. I charged my tablet backstage before the show (it'd been drained from a long day in Dealer's) and had a little wine with Alkali while waiting and watching the opener. The script was on the table up front with us, so I quickly went through it to get a grasp on the characters and plan how I'd tackle depicting each of them. I spent the entire time during the musical scribbling furiously with the assistance of a friend to keep track of lines and moments I wanted to include next. This is the longest show I've ever livedrawn and the longest set of doodles featuring the largest cast!

Alkali had an idea the next day since the charity auction was looking a little thin, and with a bit of scrambling, we produced a four-page print set of these doodles signed by as many of the performers and contributors as we could wrangle. IT WENT FOR $1500 FOR CHARITY! This won't be the last time we do something along these lines, of that you can be sure. Until next time...!
