As part of building new flutes, I've been trying out recording them and listening to the playback.
This was the first recording test with this flute. A bit of playing later, I made some small changes to the embouchure. If you listen when it's in the lower range of the upper octave (A through C) there's a bit of a squawky reed sound. This was due to some roughness which was removed with a fine rattail file.
