With their master’s orders given to them, RavenChicken and StarLizard began licking the radioactive rods, supercharging the technology used to turn them into monstrous, gooey parodies of themselves and making them stronger. It imbued them with the power they needed for their mission to steal back Mumbo's hat, but something suddenly began to go awry, as both creatures took a large bite out of the rods and swallowed them whole. With a large chunk of pure plutonium inside them, the biological part of their goo bodies began to mutate, growing rapidly as both former titans expanded in all directions. Within no time at all, they were more than three times their original size and shattering the room around them with their sheer mass, their eyes glowing brightly from the rods’ nuclear power. Their bodies tingled all over as a happy feeling overtook their simple minds, RavenChicken turning her derpy gaze over with her companion and conversed with her. "Master Mumbo want RavenChicken and StarLizard eat glowy stick! Make feel tingly good~."

As the pair continued to consume the plutonium, the mechanical hat's radio struggled to regain the signal until finally Mumbo regained contact and saw just what became of his creations. His face contorted in horror by what the camera showed him, calling out to them over the hat’s speaker. "Hey, what gives?! I told you two to only eat a little bit of the radioactive rods!! Now look at you, you’re as big as elephants!!” RavenChicken leaned in for another bite, prompting a mechanical cartoon glove to sprout from the hat and swat her rubbery beak, which jiggled comically up and down. “Knock it off and get to work before you get any bigger!!" However, despite their genetic loyalty to Mumbo, the mutation had altered something in their gooey brains. No new commands could get through to them, but their old commands still held firm in their blissfully simple minds as they both continued eating the plutonium rods, Starlizard gleefully remarking, "Glowy stick make StarLizard hungry! Want more!!"

Mumbo tried to activate an emergency override to wipe their minds clean, but suddenly the power in the hat had drained fully, cutting off Mumbo’s access to his slaves, as both Goo Titanimals consumed the last bit of the nuclear rods that were needed to power the mechanical hat. With all communications to their master having been severed, both now stood around dopily, having stored a large amount of radioactive material within their bellies that continued to mutate their bodies further. As the two began to shift and mold into entirely new beasts, they begin producing extra goo that occasionally expelled itself onto the ground, quickly building up inside the room, until their ever-growing bodies shattered the entire room. They felt a strange pressure on their heads as they grew taller and taller, pushing upwards and smashing through the ceiling of Raven’s room. The two easily made it to the second story of the tower, pushing up through floor after floor as their excess blue and green goo now flowed down the halls like a tidal wave, rushing straight toward the gym where the boys were currently in the middle of a workout… To be continued
