Arya, Larry and Blitzen have an unexpected encounter after their trip to Hearthome; running into Domhnall and Breeze, two clearly unusual Pokemon on the run from something that they refuse to divulge information about. And to make thing more confusing, Larry is somehow connected to the two of them. Whatever Larry's involvement was, it's clear that he doesn't want any of his new Clearspring friends, and even his mate, to have anything to do with it. The sudden arrival and change in Larry's behaviour sends Arya's life spiralling out of control, the Lucario questioning everything that she thought she knew about Larry, and herself. And she's not the only one...

In all honesty, this should not have taken as long as it did to write. I was stuck on this chapter for quite some time, but I think I'm finally happy with how it all turned out. With the arrival of other Clearspring Writers lately I'm glad to finally have a chance to revisit the town and keep contributing to the evolving storyline there. Arya and Larry are always fun to write and explore, and I'm looking forward to really getting into their character development in the next few chapters!
And of course, having the chance to finally include my mate in a public story <3

It was a great breach of expectations about Larry, even knowing that he hides many things from his past by the way he was approached, it is noticeable that this destabilized both Arya and Blitzen, but at least Fetchin managed to change Arya's thinking a little and I hoped Blitzen's big changes from pills.
