Alright, I decided to give that short story thing a shot so here it goes. I'm not a writer by any means, so sorry if it's not the best lol. Also, this is my newest character, Scooter!

Scooter had only been living with Honey for a week, but her selfish nature was already driving her insane.
"Alright!" Honey announced "I'm fed up with your attitude! You need to learn some manners!".
Scooter just scoffed and took a cupcake off the plate on the table. She had already eaten four of them. "Why? I have manners, don't I?" Scooter took a bite of the cupcake.
"For startesrs, you've been eating those cupcakes all day. MY cupcakes!"
"So?"
"So? Wouldn't you rather share them?"
Scooter stared at HoneyGather confused. Why would she want to share? If she did, there wouldn't be as many cupcakes for herself!
Starting to get fed up, Honey picked up the last cupcake and held it out to Scooter. "Here. Let me teach you about sharing." Scooter took the cupcake and opened her mouth to take a bite, but before she could, Honey started talking again.
"You felt happy when I gave you that, right?"
"Well... Yeah, duh. I love sweets!"
"Don't you wanna make other people happy like that? Wouldn't it be nice to know you've made someone happy?" Honey said this with enthusiasm. Surely this would make sense!
Scooter paused for a moment before holding the cupcake up, out of reach. Finally she spoke.
"Why would I wanna do that? I'd rather just keep the happiness for myself!"
HoneyGather just signed in defeat. Maybe one day Scooter would understand.
