Working on experimenting with painting some more. I tried painting with shape and light rather than drawing but I really couldn't get the hang of it. I ended up going back and drawing a rough sketch under it to work out the anatomy. I kinda ended up not bothering with the background.


I think for me I'd be better off just working off of a sketch and painting over it.

What do ya'll think of paint vs drawing do ya'll a have preference for the lined vs line-less look? I don't see a lot of painting in furry art, and I wonder if it's because drawing is easier or because it's more popular.
