My art skills have been getting rusty as of late. This, is one of the reasons why.
The blue folder on the top contains all the pictures I have yet to scan (and have to do with diapers and cute stuff, serious non-diapered stuff is kept in a different folder). The Red Folder on the bottom contains the pictures I have already scanned and mostly colored. That is a quarter used to show just how many of the damn pictures I have.
The Drawer I keep these folders in contains several other folders as well, and due to the capacity, the folder on top tends to scrape against the rim of the desk. Sometimes, the pictures become bent if there are too many pieces of paper inside.
I normally empty the red folder, but I don't know where else to put those pictures. A lot of other artists recycle or burn their old pictures, but I feel sad about doing something like that. If I don't do that, however, I'll bury myself in old pictures!
I could separate some of the pictures in the blue folder (a lot of them are from like 4 years ago and better suited for scrap pictures) but the drawer would still be full. I'll deal with this eventually and don't worry, if you have a commission or trade from me, I'll still draw that in time.

I see where your coming from, Id hate to throw out old pictures. In fact I have done that in the past by mistake, and I regret that deeply... Looking back at old pics compared to your newer ones is such a wonderful feeling of progression.
For your problem, Im not sure tbh. Ive mostly drawn my stuff in books an such so I haven't had the same issue, maybe get a box or something to put all of those pictures in?
