Muscle doberman superhero Lt. Dobes Gillis has been sprayed by chemical-powered supervillainess Zoria Quimica. Though he has been temporarily blinded (and smell blinded, as Dewey Cox might say) and weakened by the surprise attack, he still attempts to defend the secret base beyond the fence behind him. Unfortunately, Zoria has ducked his punch and is about to kick him in a very vulnerable spot. Note that her foot hasn't made contact yet - the expression on his face is just from her spray attack.

Note to self: Don't attempt to punch Zoria -- wrestle her instead. It probably won't turn out any better, but it'll almost certainly be more fun.
I have to--she fights dirty, and really enjoys it! How can you not like that?
Plus, tail floof. Tail floof.
So I'm compromising. I hope that Zoria's nefarious plans were foiled by the gallant superhero, BUT she kicks enough dobie butt (and bits) in the battle by making good her escape, free to plan her revenge. ::nods::
I love her expression, too.
These last few have been a bit more mainstream than the usual vivid, intricate, and often delightfully inscrutable Animagusurreal style I remember (not criticizing, just commenting).
I look at a lot of this kind of artwork, so one day I was like, "I wonder if I could do it too" so I did the first doberman.
I'm still continuing with my "signature" style as well :). I'm currently working on a pair of colorful, cheerful, extremely bizarre space aliens and their spaceship, and another page of the "Camo" tiger graphic novel. Those pictures just seem to take me a lot longer to finish.
