Trade - Dawn
This is an art trade with my good friend :Tardasauruslink:! In actuality it started as her offering her character Dayo to draw for me as practice, but she offered to draw something in return.
I... took the 'practice her character' thing tenfold and I decided to attack every unfamiliar subject possible at once apparently. Cityscapes, architecture, rain, cloud cover, and anthropomorphic non-reptilians.
For that many new things, I am damn proud of this and I really hope you guys like it.

It looks really good but I'd recommend different styles of architecture in the towers, instead of a bunch of tall boxes varying in height
Mix modern, some art-deco buildings, and other different styles. Some of the windows have different colors, more than one tower has the radio mast on the roof, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions! ^^ I honestly was thinking about mix-matching it some when I was working on it, but I was getting really fatigued by the end and I just wanted it done. I changed the colors of the lights on some of the entire buildings, if not the individual ones, to give some variation. Though it's kind of a moot point, I do wanna point out that actually two towers have the little warning lights on their roof - one is just a bit further back and out of focus!
Another reason why they're kinda boxy is because part of it is actually a 3D model. I couldn't get the perspective right so I created an entire simple 3D city in Blender then used it as a reference. The actual 'body' of the towers is a 3D model, while the windows and details are drawn.

And since I originally only intended it to be a reference instead of the actual city itself, I just made boxes.... then I got burnt out and left it, haha.
EDIT: And if you notice in the 2nd screenshot, I actually had some smaller buildings too that were meant to be stores because initially Dayo wasn't supposed to live in a high-rise.... then I realised I couldn't get the angle on the city I wanted without it being stupidly high so they got omitted, lmao
Anyway, excuses! Thanks for your advice/critique and I'll take it to mind next time around ^^
