A group shot of the principle cast from my fantasy project, Journeys. Sharing a universe with Lauren and company, these fine individuals exist on the opposite side of the world, in a setting far less advanced technologically, but with secrets of its own....

I'm pretty proud of them myself. :) Most of my casts start with a concept, when I figure out what the story needs the different pieces fall into place as I decide what I think I'll need, most of the time I'm right. :)

Nice to see the whole cast together. I didn't realize before now though that the two stories are set in the same world. Interesting!

They weren't originally planned that way, but when I kind of wanted to condense things a little a didn't see any reason why they couldn't, so I started planning accordingly. At this point there are a lot of intended crossovers and events in one that will influence the other, and so on.

I'd like to see more of Merrick and his buddies and see things from their POV. Also, I'd like to see Rhodes do something other than get injured because of Ethan's poor impulse control.

They do eventually get more of the spotlight, though they're mostly seen from a distance so to speak in the comic for narrative reasons. Rhodes does seem to get in a lot of trouble because of Ethan, but that's what friends are for. ;)
