Ohhh, I love this concept! The metal stylings are cool, and I have to wonder how he fights since he's lacking quite a bit of traditional armor.
I just feel there could be more shading near the hand grasping the shield, it sorta looks like it's just floating there. Some deep shadows would really make the lighter ground stand out, too!
