This was a picture I had envisioned with Radiant and his mother Queen Chrysalis. Dialogue below.

Radiant: "Where are we going mother?" *Trots at her side to keep up with her long legs*

Queen Chrysalis: "Its time I showed you something important my Prince." *Her voice was harsh and unforgiving*

-They walk to the edge of the kingdom and then stop at the beginning of a path.-

Queen Chrysalis: "Do you see this path, my child?"

Radiant: "Yes mommah."

Queen Chrysalis: "Do you know where it leads?"

Radiant: *Face squishes as he tries to think* To.... To the land of ponies?"

Queen Chrysalis: "WRONG!" *Her voice was sharp causing the colt to wince* "This road, leads to our greatest enemies. To those who wish us destroyed. Those who have taken everything from us."

Radiant: *looks down at the road that wove and sunk off into the setting sun. It was hard to believe it lead to a bad place with bad ponies*

Queen Chrysalis: "Do you understand now my little Prince?"

Radiant: "Yes Mommah."

Queen Chrysalis: "So where does this road lead?"

Radiant: "To our ene... emen... Enemies!"

Queen Chrysalis: "Very good. Never forget, they are nothing more than the dirt beneath our hooves. Let's go home."

Queen Chrysalis teaching her son a very important lesson. One he will never forget. I know compared to his ref he isn't sparkly and is missing part of his underbelly, but in my mind, he slowly develops those parts as he gets older. As an infant he only had the green around his neck, then as a colt he had the part over his back. The last to appear is on his belly and thats when the shinning starts happening. When he blossoms into the stallion he is supposed to be. Anyways, just more brain barfing :D Enjoy! Also as a disclaimer for the recent posts of him, I am trying to use Photoshop and photoshop only. I'm slowly getting the hang of the program but my lines aren't as crisp as they were before. Still getting used to it. XD

I referenced Earthsong9405's picture below to get an idea of how a foal's body proportions should be, but there was no tracing or copying. Just general figure study referencing. Figure I should give credit just to make sure.
