Vashaa who made me fall in love with a dragon species !<3 (Which was really not easy as I'm not very fond of dragons XD )
Maybe more infos to come later as I'll develop the character and take part of the species' events !

And this time, I want to introduce one of my precious Shiji-long babies. And thank you to
Vashaa who made me fall in love with a dragon species !<3 (Which was really not easy as I'm not very fond of dragons XD ) Yì shí :
40 years ago, two young parents and partners happily welcomed their very first egg in their whole existence. But, despite being both overly careful and protective parents, a tragic event occured during the time they were watching over the egg and brooding it. One day, the egg rolled out of their nest and fell from it. Luckily, it didn't break. But a small crack appeared at the top of it. The two parents harshly blamed themselves for the accident and prayed the Gods to beg them to protect the egg and give it a chance to hatch. Eight months after the laying, their payers were answered and the egg finally hatched to reveal a healthy and cute defensless all white little female they decided to name Yì shí.
It's only a few weeks later that they realized that their daughter was completely blind.
Yì shí is now around 40 years old and still living with her parents who are still very protective and caring with their first child and daughter. Probably because they are deeply convinced that they are responsible for her condition. And fear that she might never be able to live on her own as a normal Shiji-long.
Which is often saddening the young female, making her feel like a burden on her poor parents's shoulders. But, despite her condition, Yì shí is a very optimistic and cheerful young Shiji. She can see the bright side of every situation and has the most hopeful heart. Deprived of the ability to see she was gifted with passion and imagination. She's a kind and peaceful soul, also very shy with strangers at first and very afraid of forced contacts because of her condition. But once she knows you, she'll feel more relaxed and will slowly open up to you. She needs to get used to your voice, smell and aura first. Because yes, she can feel exactly every creature's feelings. Which is a very unique talent as it allows her to precisely know what's your mood. Like, some very strong empathy.
She loves to sing (even if she's not the best singer...) and to listen at the nature's sounds. Rain's sound being her favorite.
She's blind but her other senses are very keen and she's a clever girl which makes her probably more self-conscious about others and what they think or feel.
She can't fly, or well, she thinks she can't as her parents were always scared to let her try. And she's never venture very far from her parents' den-cave.
Oh and, she has no idea what to do with her life. And that's probably the only thing that can make her feel really sad and blue. Luckily, she's surrounded with loving and supportive parents and siblings.
One last thing : she looooooooooooooves feathers and soft things !Maybe more infos to come later as I'll develop the character and take part of the species' events !

She’s absolutely gorgeous.
All of my characters would do anything within their power to make her feel comfortable and trust them. They would always keep a distance that she’s comfortable with until she feels comfortable being next to them.
vashaa did a spectacular job creating her. Such a super beautiful species.

oh hm.
Well, as long as it's not a real super power it would be okay. like it could be something like intuition? like some people say mediums can feel auras and such, but like I said though, it can't be like real magic. maybe her senses could have been just better because of her blindness?

No super power and no magic ! I swear !
A sixth sense would me more appropriate for sure, like, as you said, some kind of strong intuitive ability she could have developped to compensate blindness. She could not "see" people but she could "feel" them instead, according to their mood and feelings. Maybe it would be something closer to strong empathy ? And I'd skip the "it allows her to precisely know where you are" part.
What do you think ? Would it be more acceptable ?
