Usually I don't like gradient colouring as it is prone to making the otherwise decent picture seem awfully arificial and uncanny. This application of such technique, however, is done in such a fashion that it works, really works ! The crimson glow has a very warm feel to it, and it's slightly reminescent of cherry pancakes in flavour. You know you've drawn something right if the piece invokes feeling in a viewer that go beyond merely visual 8)

And that hairstyle ! I approve of it greatly.

Well, for every building there must be a pavement in the same way taht your collaboration has your smooth lady for the centrepiece and the ruby radiance that improves upon her ambience. Faulty analogy here, as it implies that the building is taller and more significant than the pavement, but it works if we take a bomb shelter, with multiple underground storeyes that are basicaly a pavement, and the building itself is the reinforced shield against possible airstrikes that makes the shelter safe and secure.
